ABOUT THE PÂTISSIER
Geoffrey Michael Dimitrovski, the Pâtissier, is a local boy through and through! He was born and bred in Albury Wodonga; went to school at Albury High; played rugby for the Southern Rams. Geoffrey gained his experience at many fine 5 Star resorts and Patisseries throughout Australia including Hayman Island Resort.
Geoffrey’s gâteaux are more than just cakes; they are amazing individual works of art. Geoffrey prides himself on his finished product, painstakingly applying elaborate garnish including gold and silver leaf for that “wow factor” visual appeal. While working in many prestigious hotels, Geoffrey prepared elaborate and decadent desserts and gâteaux for celebrities, movie stars and dignitaries. His passion is to offer the same high quality and innovation to customers in his own pâtisserie, right here in Albury Wodonga.
Geoffrey is committed to his trade and the advancement of Patisserie. The National Skill Needs List identifies Pastry Chef as a traditional trade experiencing a national skills shortage. Geoffrey is doing his bit to overcome this shortage by training a new wave of Pastry Chefs in the true tradition of French Patisserie.
